Few things: first, you've established an intimate atmosphere here, making your reader immediately comfortable. Second, I love the variation between longer sentences and short, punchy ones. Playing with words: "made your peace and unmade it", it's like a ping pong game between the author's personas. Third, the metaphorical take on emotions embedded in ordinary objects yet carrying excruciating psychological weight. I sense internal bleeding with this piece. Smashed it, bestie x

Some weights don’t have names, only patterns. And sometimes the very things that keep us intact are the same things that keep us unseen. And in a way, it feels like carrying a kind of curse something you’re bound to live with, but can never fully speak of… so no one ever really sees it for what it is.. and that invisibility itself is its own burden. The way it's written is very stimulating.. Good one.
